JOIN The NATIONAL IMPEACHMENT NETWORK

The NIN coordinates letter writing, faxing, email, phone calls around specific timely actions when they may have their greatest impact. We have coordinators from Portland, San Francisco and other Bay Areas, Seattle, Philadelphia, Denver, Florida, Michigan, the East Coast, Phoenix, Montana, and more, all with huge email lists of committed activists similar to our own LAAIC activists, to whom coordinators will send out Action Alerts whenever it appears timely, and to the most effective targets we know of.

We focus on nothing other than impeachment efforts. We attack the issue from all fronts we know of, including demands from the media that they begin to do their job and cover the impeachable offenses Bush and Cheney have committed. We fax and write and call our congressmembers. We stage protests, picket, banner, post signs, sign petitions for Pelosi's resignation, and will not quit until the bitter end.

Exert extra pressure on all House Judiciary Committee members to start impeachment hearings NOW. Call 202-225-3121 and ask for your representative.

CONGRESSMAN KUCINICH IS BEING JOINED BY ROBERT WEXLER TO GET IMPEACHMENT GOING; AND SEVEN OTHER CONGRESSMEMBERS HAVE SIGNED ON IN SUPPORT. CITIZEN INVOLVEMENT AND DEMANDS are needed to make it happen! THIS IS OUR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE HISTORY. LET US TAKE A DEEP BREATH, THEN PROCEED WITH A SLEDGE HAMMER!

More actions you can take to further the process of impeachment

  • Call your Elected Officials!
  • Add your voice to ours. Join us at our meetings.
  • Learn who your Representative is and contact them. Use www.house.gov and search for your representative.
  • IMPEACH BUSH DIRECTLY. This actually a legal document demanding impeachment through a previously used, and little known procedure. Learn about it, then Impeach Bush yourself, and stop waiting for your legislators.

WRITE, CALL, E-MAIL THE MEDIA!

Corporate media coverage amounts to basically pentagon and right-wing propaganda now. But viewer and listener comments are still necessary and can make the difference, especially if large numbers of people complain and request coverage.

From now until January 20, 2009, impeachment coverage is vital! Hearings will be taking place in various Congressional committees, and unless people ask the major conglomerates to cover them, we'll only see them on C-Span. Let our voices be heard, and remind these corporate spokespeople that the public owns the air waves!
