OUR MISSION:

The Los Angles Area Impeachment Center is a nonpartisan coalition of area activists calling for the investigation, exposure, and (if necessary) impeachment of all guilty parties within the Bush administration. We believe only the impeachment process will shed light on high crimes and misdemeanors committed in our names. We believe our democracy is in jeopardy, and only informed citizens can preserve the United States Constitution: The very same Constitution George W. Bush called "just a goddamn piece of paper" and the same Constitution he claims our young men and women are killing and dying for in Iraq.

DISCLAIMER:

While we unequivocally favor indicting and jailing our chief for proven crimes, and are confident he has committed crimes, please be aware that as long as Bush or Cheney hold office, they have immunity from criminal prosecution. Therefore, it is in our best interests to remove them from office as soon as possible.

What You Must Do Today:

Call, write, fax, or email John Conyers, the HJC members, and your representative. DEMAND they debate Dennis Kucinich's 35 Articles of Impeachment. Do this regularly from now until the bitter end! Congressman Kucinich has pledged to reintroduce his 35 articles every 30 days until the HJC acts. But he needs the help of citizens to get this done.
